I was wondering if anyone has ecu timing curves of senior and junior rotax max engines.
I will be doing that but i do not have initial makers graphs for reference.
I own a junior and a senior rotax engines and i am planning to reveal these graphs by using oscilloscope. Planning to trace tdc signal and ignition signal for noting down this curve. I think i might need to measure current signal of ignition as well. What i have concluded so far is that above 11500 rpm, primary ignition coil is getting less amps so ignition energy is low, to protect the engine but this conclusion is not yet secure. Need to upgrade my oscilloscope to measure current as well to ensure that.
Anyway, if someone has makers curves orade.his own i would appreciate sharing. I will do the same as soon as i have secure results.
P.S. Have requested from rotax the same but no reply….. Expected….
Thanks noted. Will also add my findings when done. I am planning to copy initial mapping and check if i can add some vit settings by ignition time advancing. All these are an intention for the moment not sure if feasible. i was planning to construct my own ecu but i read on your old post that there are some aftermarket ones that can be programmed.
Not sure but i think will give it a try to make my own for the moment by using AVR chips
About that any clue for rpm sensor, is npn or pnp?
