Anyone running this setup? I basically need to record about an hour during practice sessions for analysis. I really want my starter to be working throughout the day! But I’d rather not run two batteries unless I have to.
Anyone run their Smartycam off the starter battery?
That’s what I do. I just put a charger on the battery between sessions.
I disconnect the battery between sessions. Sometimes have to charge it during the race day.
Thanks guys, I’ll disconnect and charge between sessions. I’ve heard people say it’s kind of power hungry. I have a portable charger that will hopefully do the trick
Make sure you mychron and smarty cameras have the latest software updates. Mine did not, and I was having some issues. Will update both when we start up again in a few months and hopefully that fixes the problems
