Finally got round to a more comprehensive piece on Suzy. Uncovered some stuff I didn’t want to find, but also a chance to tell the story with more detail and with more race wins.

Will we see the first female FIA World Champion crowned in the coming years? No.

Will we see the first female FIA World Champion defend her title on the streets of Monaco in the coming years? No.

Why? It’s not because I’ve become a raging chauvinist - I’m just stating a fact. The reason these statements are true is that it’s already happened.

Luckily, the karting world today is at the opposite side of the spectrum. There is only one thing left to do @Alan_Dove : find her and interview her!

I have done a little bit of searching to no avail. Another more well known automotive journo has tried as well, again to no avail.

I take it as she doesnt want to be found. Which I totally respect. Its be great to get more of the story… but would she even want to speak to anyone associated with British karting? I am jot so sure
