It tilts the wheel back farther (more upright) by 15 degrees.

I’m a tall guy so I have my steering column on the highest OTK setting. This makes the wheel very laid back. I am wondering if the angled spacer would help!

Definitely worth a shot. I think it made a pretty noticeable difference for me

If I recall correctly OTK also sells a long steering column and Righetti Ridolfi also has one, though not as long as the former, but it could be enough for you

I got the idea because birel has a sliding steering column adjustment and i had mine rather far down. This spacer allows me to run the angle that makes it easier to steer (although like @tjkoyen said: using the whole track will make my arms fatigue less lol) while letting me run the column more in the middle.

Saw some at Genk, but they were labelled as Tony Kart in the lists

First official OVKA points race at G&J Kartway in Ohio since the repave. My brother and I raced KA100 Masters with a good field of 16 karts. The format was Random Draw/Invert/Final.

First Heat - I started back in the pack and worked my way up to 6th, including 2 passes on the last lap. Ethan started outside pole and just cruised to a 2nd place.

Invert - I cut my way through to the lead, and threw away the win for 2nd on the penultimate lap by overcooking a corner. Ethan fought with e tough midfield for an exciting race.

Feature - I started outside pole and fought hard for 2nd place, while Ethan started 4th mixed it up with some great passes to finish off the podium with a 3rd place.

Somedays, things are problems.

Had another fun weekend at G&J Kartway for OVKA Race #2 in the 100cc Masters class with @Ethan_Bokeno , we ran Random/Invert/Feature again on the super-fast 1C configuration.

Heat 1: we both started mid-field, and I chose the wrong lane behind a 3-wide dash down the backstretch and got freight-trained on lap 1. We both made some progress through the midfield.

Heat 2: Ethan drove to the lead, but contact in Turn 2 sent him off-track and a thrown chain ended his race. (My Go-Pro shut off and failed to capture this race, and unfortunately missed me getting tangled with another racer and sent skidding through the cornfield)

Feature: Ethan started 9th, and drove throught the field to a Podium Finish. (My GoPro mount was broken on my trip through the cornfield and so I missed getting footage of my drive from 13th to 5th.)

I may be wrong about this, but doesn’t that pedal on the right go forward AND back?

Finally got the race videos up from the last Oregon State Karting Championship Series (OSKCS) round two weekends ago!

It was a very challenging weather day where every session was on different tires than the previous (rain tires or dry tires). We had qualifying in the pouring rain, Heat 1 on a drying track with slicks, Heat 2 on a wet track with rains and the Final on a fully dry track! I have never installed and removed my wheels so many times in one day haha! Overall, it was a great day and I learned a lot. It was my first time driving on rain tires and legit wet conditions. Qualified P3 in the rain which I was happy about! Got 2nd in Heat 1 which was a very good race. Crashed out in Heat 2 and hit a disabled kart that they decided to just leave right in the firing line of a high speed corner people were going off at all day…That crash bent my axle so I was way down on speed in the Final but held on to 3rd for my first podium of the season!

Also, I having a fun time playing with Telemetry Overlay and setting up the Mychron data as gauges! As always, I’m open to hearing and feedback or tips on my driving that anyone might have. I felt very comfortable and feel like I am improving!

Hey, I’m the one getting jumped over

This is a cool circuit, very flowy but the first couple corners look tight enough to make you question gearing
