What did you do to your Kart Today? (2025 Edition)

Im feeling some pretty serious FOMO. The KA masters field is looking really really good, but I gotta remember that I’m skipping it for a good reason… sigh

Installed my caliper, master cylinder, and brake lines today. Next task is the cable and safety mechanisms. Planning to get the cable hooked up and the system bled if I don’t get too busy this week. Debating on whether to get a mychron before first start or just fire it up. (I will probably get the mychron).

Anyone wanna sell me a used rear bumper? Can’t believe how expensive those things are new!

I didn’t really “do” anything and it wasn’t actually “today” but I picked up a new set of tubes for my Kart Republic from MPG Motorsports while I was in Indy for the 500. I’ll have to transfer everything over and if nothing goes wrong I’ll have a kart ready to go late next month once work calms down. I can fit the tubes in the back of my Mazdaspeed3, I’m not sure I can get a rolling chassis in there much less everything else I would need. Time to go look for a cargo van.

Wanted to make a simple barely edited video while putting the kart together.

I weirdly enjoy stuff like this. The tinkering in the garage part of karting is my zen happy place, so a kart build is excellent.

Same boat. I enjoy wrenching nearly as much as driving. I really get a kick of dopamine getting everything neat and tidy and how I like it.

I’ll have to watch this when I get home from work. I very much enjoy kart build videos. Something soothing about them.

Fair warning. I don’t have the most velvety-smooth soothing voice.

Starting again the same old situation. Setting up the karts for our next seat time trip to speedpark racetrack . One of the trickiest in greece .

Its really hot today but i kind secretly love. It ..

Rebuilt top end. Didn’t explode. Success thanks to @Muskabeatz for all the tips and tricks!

About halfway through putting our other engine on. The old one has too many hours on it. Always nice to swap things out when you have time instead of rushing at the racetrack.

Haven’t had any time, but managed to get the master cylinder mounted and checked which studs need to be changed. Hope everyone is having a good week!
