First session we where somwthing like 1minute and 4 secs best lap and by our last set noon time when the Marshall come and said no more racing karts for today sirs . We where down to 1 minite for me and 59.5 for nick . So we had done a good job .
I didnt need to work to the karts so much bscsuse every time we had the time to drive our times got better and better .
We where midpack in the master series pace and tail drivers in the senior time wise pace at the end of the day .
The feeling is that we need more seat time and when the clock stops to go down then we need someking of upgrade to our engine package. Those new okj motors and the roks with the exhaust valves was hurting my ass all day long and i was struggling to get along them .
But the good new is that nothing was broke down on our karts and we had a good first step on the big scene with smiles and welcomes from many teams around .
Im sure i am in need of an xl size kartpulse t shirt this season . Whats the best way to earn that ??
Mello yello colours kart did have many people looked on her as she was shining on paddocs but that wasnt a surprise of course.. smile
I definitely need to move the wheel up a touch. Maybe back, but I would need to cut down the steering shaft to get it further away. As far as I know CRG doesn’t make a shorter steering shaft.
I’m a bit scrunched which surprised me having the seat so far back for a shifter kart. Also, I’m not that tall of a guy.
I think so. Suits the way I like to drive and way more engaging. Was getting bored with TAG. I’m going to hold onto a single killer Rotax I have to go run the US Finals when it rolls around, but main focus is shifter now.
I’ll need to re-program the brain a bit on driving lines. I’ve been working so hard to get smoother and smoother. Now it’s going to be drive it in harder, “V” the corners a bit more, and get it pointed straight as fast as I can.
Prepped the kart for the Stars race this weekend, which included moving the seat slightly and re-scaling everything. Will be heading to Indiana tomorrow!
