What did you do to your kart today?

love it matthew , maybe someday could you share some sound also !

Just verified that it is legal per ROK Cup USA rules.

I had a EU spec and was told I couldn’t run it at any STARS races

When did this happen?

It was when I reached out prior to running the night fight in 2021. I ended up just borrowing a friends short silencer for it (not that I even placed high enough for it to matter lmao)

Changed from the usual seat bolts to the better and giving more clearance jecko ergal type bolts . They are a beauty yes !

Those remind me a bit of the ribtect flat kit.

Those Ribtect ones are as flat as they come!

My go to (albeit not the lightest option) are 1/2" flat washers. The head of an 8mm flat head bolt rests nicely on them and sits very flat compared to standard conicals.

And, I bet they don’t cost $88 for the set. (No regrets, very high quality and re-useable).

That’s my credo!

Never, ever again will I use those bolts. Entirely too soft. My son stripped several when we were at the track making a seat and weight move this year. I managed to get them off, but they were not salvageable for re-use. Also had 1 bend on the seat. Haven’t bent any traditional socket flat head steel bolts, so that’s what I am sticking with.
Sure wish they had been more durable, they were so flush and comfortable for him in the seat.

Carb day today . We will bring back on its baseline an old dellorto VHSB 36 for the pre evo rotax engine . And yes it has seen the napoleons wars in his prime as lukas would said .

We also get a wall board in the garage .
God i love them ! Smile

Some assembly required…

Almost everything inside isnt in the correct size , exept the bowls and the atomizer . We will need new jets , needle , needle stopper , filter ,all gaskets .and a mixture bolt . The good thing is that dellorto parts are cheap enought to let me buy them , so now david its cleaning and wait for them …

Put the floor pan and seat back in the kart tonight.

This is the first year I finally have my own graphics kit. Just got it in actually - any tips for installing? Yours came out awesome!

dont rush the job . clean your plastics before installation . and for sure have a heat gun near you coz it helps a lot . dont be afraid to unstick and stick again some parts that goes wrong . the vinil stickers are strong anough to stick again , and the heat gun is your best friend at this task

This was my second time installing decals. Take your time. I did these over a few evenings after work. I cleaned everything using my normal cleaning solution then once dry I cleaned the decal surface again using alcohol. I used the heat gun less this time then I did my first time and felt the end product was better for it. That being said you still need the heat gun at points but I only used it when I needed to get the decal to contour more. The stickers are assure to handle if they are not too hot and soft. That video posted above was the same one I watched for tips before starting.
