Rather than Ricciardo, I will rather prefer to see Lawson behind the wheel. I love Ricciardo, but new blood is better.
Technically, if they pull him. He will only miss last round at Suzuka, he can potentially double duty. He already has super license.
My thought is let Danny Ric slot in to assess Yukiâs form against a known quantity, let Lawson finish his year in Japan, and then give him the full-time seat next year.

I am available as well for the remainder of the season and possibly some 2024 races.

This gives RB flexibility for next year. The rest of the season is Ric v. Perez for a seat next year. Lawson to take Ricâs seat if he doesnât perform. Or Ric takes Perezâs seat. Lawson to AT. Or Lawson straight to RB. They have options going forward based on how everyone does.

In an effort to allow Red Bull Racingâs Max Verstappen to set even more records and win even more things, Formula 1 announced today that it is considering a new award for the 2024 sprint race weekends, the âGrand Slam.â Basically, the award would be given to any driver who took pole and victory in both the sprint race and the main event. So, congrats to Max, I guess.

I would say those two arenât mutually exclusive. He was pushing too hard for how early in the session it was. No reason to be flirting with the grass and subsequently going into it basically on a warm up lap. Another mistake from Checo unfortunately.
