I think I saw something about Jos wanting him gone but you never can tell with the sensational internet stories.
Outside of being a bit randy of late, I would a thought that Christian was super good at his job seeing how they have been consistently excellent for many years. Max not getting enough adulation or what?
Horner is good at his job and is in love with Max. I think this is purely about power within the team.

Rumors that Horner went to the Thais behind the Austrian ownership’s back after Mateschitz died and tried to buy out the F1 team with a group of British investors and the Austrians found out and since then things have been rough behind the scenes.
Jos is spreading many of these rumors. Apparently he says if Horner stays then Max will go to Mercedes. Horner and Marko are at odds and apparently the Verstappens back Marko because Max feels loyal to him since he helped make Max’s career.
This is better than Succession.

Kimi gets bored and he and Seb start a new “Senior tour” where they get all the former f1 racers to join them racing different vehicles at the worlds greatest tracks.
The only thing that kind of puzzles me about all this Jos vs Horner stuff is why it’s all being instigated. Like, I can understand wanting to jump ship as a result of all the drama, or following someone like Adrian Newey if they leave, but everything I see it seems as if Jos is part of the instigation.
We all know Max is a beast of a driver, and he’s still in the fastest car on the grid so why ruin a thing thats working?

Lmao valid point. I’m just saying, for a guy to be so hard on his kid growing up to be an world champion F1 driver, potentially taking him out of the fastest car on the grid is a weird move.
I envisage the discussion with Toto went something like I can bring you Max but only if he and Newey come as a package.

Has that been confirmed? There are so many rumors going around F1 media these days.
I’m not sure it matters, it’s f1 drama, which is fun stuff. 
I mean the texts haven’t been technically confirmed yet but everyone knows they’re real at this point. The Jos thing makes sense and explains a lot. It might be a while until it’s confirmed and reported on by a big name like ESPN, but it certainly looks real at the moment.
But who knows, it’s the internet

There’s a place for ego in racing. F1 certainly has it. But whether you like Marko or Horner, neither make Red Bull the top team currently.
I’d be stunned if Max left Red Bull over something as (comparatively) trivial as not liking a person.
That said, at this point it also wouldn’t surprise me - Max seems indifferent at best about his overall tenure in F1.
