Average session (visit) length is 3.36amins across 47,000 visits.
I would guess its a good thing that October wasn’t a fluke and November is in line with October. Just curious what are people searching for in Google that brings them to this site?
That that tends to be guarded by google but it’s also been a long time since I’ve poked around. You can do some guesswork for the pages people land on, but in terms of the search keywords and associated impressions I’m not sure there’s any data available.
Here is why I ask…I post most of my race videos on YouTube. Mostly because its easy and free storage of data and it makes it easy to share. Here is where it gets funny. In one video I used the phrase “hot action” to describe on track activity. Most of my videos get about 150 views (impressive huh) but the one with the “hot action” description is at almost 400. Maybe its a coincidence, maybe not. SO, just wondering if there were some phrase or keywords that have been the source of the increased visits.
Theres quite a bit on the internet about figuring out the Google and YouTube algo.
It’s a number of things. I am, for example, riding the wave of “shorts”. They want that content and promote that, for example. Keywords, format, length, etc. I have seen my traffic change dramatically when you get a hit.
My hippity hop video just keeps going. No idea why. It’s been promoted since day one and just keeps chugging.
